We work hard to be a professional survey practice. We look at issues pragmatically and let the measurements do the talking, but there is a real sense of satisfaction in solving a customers problem that makes surveying more than just a job. A lovely customer was at wits end with the glazing and door of their otherwise excellent 4 bed house in Northumberland - the developer had left site and an earlier snaggers report was ignored after the snagger refused to meet the developer to make the case - he was a builder, snagging part time (groan!!). A bespoke survey to look at the front door issue - and issues the other snagger missed - resulted in meetings on site with the developers rep and agreement to replace the front door and frame after we demonstrated 6mm distortion in two planes. Credit to the developers rep who was an experienced pair of hands. Better, a long running issue regarding defective glass in the French doors that required our team to create a test to replicate winter sun conditions in summer time, resulted in the developer committing to replace the defective glass and the frames as the head frame and an upright were also distorted. We are so happy for our customer and even happier we were able to help.
